North Texas has fired coach Seth Littrell
They just made the conference championship. lol. What is with these s*** schools firing their HC in the schools more competitive years?
The expanded playoff would have been crazy in 07.
That’s the type of result you’d hope can be drawn from this. A legitimate stage for over a dozen ne’er do wells to shine and have an actual chance for a title
The collection of talent amongst the few top dogs might make that tough now, but hopefully the transfer portal can provide us just 6/12 semi-real contenders. Even this season, I feel like there’s not a huge gap between 2-6. Michigan is closer to 1 than 3 but they should have one loss too if the Illinois game goes any less favorably. THIS season would actually be great to have an expanded offs
Opening total for Kentucky/Iowa is 32.5, a full point lower than Army/Navy which opened at its lowest total since 2005
Would be the 2nd lowest closing total since 1995 if it closed there. Funnily enough the lowest closing total since 1995 also came this season, with Iowa @ Minnesota closing at 31.5
Dude was the drizzling s***s at Louisville, had a great Adidas bought class this year tho
We ain’t beating Kansas. Other than KJ most of the players who are eligible for the draft are opting out and declaring
They’ll play in that bullshit SR Bowl though
Liberty just hired Coastal Carolinas coach for 7 years 28 million
Great hire for them, sad to see him go
Also don't understand how it advances his career but oh well, get your bag I guess

A pretty desired springboard job from what I listened to on splitzoneduo
None of the clear upward movement positions seemed to really consider him this cycle

It's a cool salary upgrade but Sun Belt football has been on the rise the last few years, I'd argue we're a better conference than CUSA and therefore a better platform for him to eventually land a P5 job
I thought he was being considered by Georgia Tech but I guess not
Do people not know who Shedeur Sanders is? I can't believe the outrage at Deion naming him starting QB already and uninformed losers think it's only because he's Deion's son
Shedeur: 41 TD, 6 INT this season. 4 star QB recruit with offers from Alabama, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Oregon, Tennessee
Colorado's most productive passer this season threw for 1220 yards, 7 TD and 8 INT.
The amount of people angry at Deion for saying he's going to completely overhaul a program that went 1-11 this year and has been .500 or better just once since 2005 (not counting COVID year) is ridiculous

If it was any other coach other than Deion, I think this approach usually back fires.
Chad Morris tried that approach here and completely alienated the current existing players and caused internal issues between them and "his guys."
200 recruits/transfers have evidentially reached out to him, so he shouldn't have a problem turning over the roster if that's the way he wants to go.

As bad as that team has been, he has to take some risks, and alienation is definitely one of them. We’ll have to see if Boulder has the money as well.

Fully agree, Deion is one of a very select few guys who could pull off a strategy like this
Personality + credentials + vision and plan, which no offense, Morris had none o
I'm rooting so hard for Deion to succeed
