Verifiably untrue. According to NCAA.com, since the tournament expanded to 64 teams in 1985 there has been an average of 8.5 March Madness upsets per year. NIL started in 2021. Here is the amount of upsets in the four tournaments following the introduction of NIL
2022: 14 (outlier year, tied for most upsets in modern tournament history)
2023: 8
2024: 9
2025: 4 (outlier year, this was also the chalkiest year in modern tournament history)
So basically nothing has changed at all
You see how its trending downward though, watch 2026 be the same as 2025
also college basketball has been the worst its ever been since athletes got paid
March madness has had fewer upsets than normal
Boys college basketball is ass (and has been for years) but women’s college basketball is damn near ultimate

THANK YOU
Men’s CBB the only form of basketball still doing f***ing halves and 1 and 1
best second half I’ve seen ole miss play in a big game & it’s without lane
*because

I mean it’s the same play caller & DC I just frankly have never seen chambliss play that well throughout an entire game, defense hung in there just enough

The idea that buying out some coach who has only been good for a few seasons will save ur football program is so dumb

nah hes very good, people gotta get off their perception of him, he build up 2 programs successively

Lane has never won anything meaningful. And neither has ole Miss until month he left.
You see how its trending downward though, watch 2026 be the same as 2025
No it is not trending downward, outside of the two outlier years it's literally right in line with the historical average
nah hes very good, people gotta get off their perception of him, he build up 2 programs successively
And has won nothing of consequence, not even a single big game, because he is simultaneously the most narcissistic and insecure man in the sport and will never stay anywhere long enough to actually be great
Lane will become the head coach at Alabama before winning a single CFP game at either of his two previous schools
And has won nothing of consequence, not even a single big game, because he is simultaneously the most narcissistic and insecure man in the sport and will never stay anywhere long enough to actually be great
this is just reductive fan type s***, at this point he is an extremely hire-able coach , they had to flip most of their roster & turned in an even better season, they have 2 QB’s good enough to start on paper the one balling out right now they literally just found from nowhere
