If it wasn’t for kicks the game would lowkey be close
Missed two FGs, knocked themselves out of the redzone with a penalty and turned the ball over, got called for 10 penalties for 75 yards, and got hosed by the refs on a crucial missed OPI call
It was a close & good game regardless of what the final score shows, Penn State clearly better but not a bad nor embarrassing performance by Boise by any stretch

We also let them back in the game with a dozen mistakes, most notably the fumble up 14-0 in their territory

I mostly give them credit for not letting the game get away from them when it looked really bad early after missing a FG, allowing two TDs, and then squandering great field position off the fumble you mentioned
The wheels could've come off right then and there but they stayed composed and kept it close the whole way through. Admirable imo
Idgaf, I’d rather have a 1 loss Boise, SMU, Indiana, or Arizona State over a 3 loss SEC team that would have likely produced the same result.
We are all rooting for arizona state, right?
yup
