Me and my 5 buddies and 0 hit
I agree that it is the most fair though.
Also exciting when we all hop in and that 1 or 2 mins to find out our spot
Agree its way better than a Supreme or SNKRS drop
Also puts in perspective how many people are trying to get kicks, this was 300k and Jordans are wayyyy more popular
CC - SGA #9000
Base:
KP dunk #20000
Cole Anthony #568
Jrue Holiday #3000
Clint Capela #4500
Nothing amazing. But it feels good to finally get a pack. Will just keep these to qualify for future drops

Yeah wish other companies would implement this into their drops for limited items but they never would. Too much transparency lol

just sell them and buy the dip on the other 35k ccs that will go down to like 5 dollars
Wow the price of Cool Cats is so low
The hype is over for this ponzi scheme
Flow Blockchain is a VC scam. Very successful though lol
Just want my Dapper Balance to withdraw already..
Only ~20k accounts have access to withdraw
The hype is over for this ponzi scheme
300k people in line for 60k packs.. hype is not dead

i've been in since they were in private beta
hype is definitely over. the mainstream news hype cycle is now at a way lower level then when people were first discovering what NFTs are
supply demand isn't real for this artificially created scarcity
it's a reflexive cycle
there is outsized demand because of the promise of "oh i bought a pack and 10x'd my money"
there is no real demand for the moments themselves at these prices
once that dries up you'll see the value of the moments crater faster than they can on-board naive bagholders buying the packs or individual moments
then the price will stabilize at some value at 80-90% less than the hypecycle highs because there won't be enough transcational volume to keep up with the price
the fact that FLOW isn't ETH compatible will be another roadblock for real adoption
if you're lucky enough to profit off this ponzi you should always be locking in profits because it is inevitable
nope^
for short term flippers this over yeah
but long term money is good and pretty easy

You're probably right. And if you're cashing out for moments you're definitely doing it wrong. But $9 and $14 price points are good buy ins imo. I'm holding in the hopes that it can one day go global, while also making a couple hundred here and there when possible
There's some value to be had with how some of these noobs are ignoring serial # during pricing. I sold my lebron assist #25xxx for 165 before fees and bought the same moment #69xx for 180

It’s such a short term mentality
take ur profits when you get them sure but lmaooo imagine not holding a lebron or something for years just to see
surprised to see this on KTT. short term mindless flipping is over, but long term this has so much room to grow. It's backed by the NBA, which has billions of fans. Mark Cuban himself has said he wants NFTs to be a huge money maker for the NBA, theyre going to push this like crazy. Just look at Fifa... they bring in billions... BILLIONS from Ultimate Team alone and those cards? worthless when the next game comes out. Top Shot has an app, fantasy partnerships, a game, and potentially more, giving these moments utility and long term value. In no way is it dead, just dont go buying trash players thinking theyll make you rich. stick to rookies and stars

I thought the serial number and overall rareness of the card is what determined whether it will be worth anything long term.
If I bought a Poeltl card because I think he’s going to grow as a player a huge amount in the coming years, does that mean the value of the card could be much bigger even if it’s a common card with a low serial number?

At the end of the day you need a buyer. You can definitely draw some comparisons from physical cards to make some predictions. A Lebron is 100% the Charizard of TS and will trump any other card, even a rarer card. A 1/1 card is worthless if no one wants it, no matter how rare it is. I've personally got a top 1% account and my strategy is only buying the best of the best to hold long term. Rookies that are safe bets (Zion, Lamelo) and Series 1 superstars. Outside of that, it's extremely risky. I think long term, the high end superstars and rookies continue to grow in price, while the others slowly rise and once a floor is found for Series 1 cards, most start to trend towards the floor. As for serial number, lower is better, but don't expect someone to pay double just to get a low one. The moment itself is the number one selling point, not the serial number. No one is buying a Nerlens Noel card for 5k just because there are only 500 and you have a serial number in the bottom 10%...
