MetaphoricalOneI don't team selections are the best indicators... Where would he rank among other defenders in the league.... I definitely don't think he's as good as PG on D... I don't think he's better on D than PJ whose NEVER made a defensive team in his career and probably won't this year even though an NBA coaches poll places P.J. Tucker on All-Defensive Second Team this year.. Where are the individual stats that show this on Tatum because I don't see it on tape and how much does him being on a good defensive team impact his general defensive stats.... What are his individual defensive numbers.... things like contested shots, deflections, charges taken, etc... There's no way he's as good a defender as Covington, but I doubt Covington is making any all defense teams this year either.... And that's because narrative and team rankings play a lot into defensive selections.
