What you think about Vogel?
I think he's probably a middle of the pack coach.
That’s where I have him, not great but not awful

Pretty much. He has our defense locked in but then again he also has LeBron James and Anthony Davis
What were Mark Jackson, Isaiah Thomas, Derek Fisher, & Doc Rivers qualifications before they got their head coaching jobs since they were never assistants either?
Cry more about race kid lmaooo
Why bruh won’t answer this oh wait
What were Steve Kerr and Steve Nash's coaching experiences prior to getting head coaching jobs?
What were their qualifications over many black coaches with experience, whether it be on a collegiate level, assistant level, scouting level?
Random white dudes with no prior professional basketball coaching experience just showing up to get already championship contender built teams and then get called "coaching geniuses!"
You gon have to explain that one to me pimp.
You bring up 2 examples as if it happens all the time lol.
Both Kerr & Nash have had reputations as high IQ players over their careers and have held front office positions years leading up to the coaching hire (Kerr in Phoenix & Nash w/ Golden State). Kerr specifically was sought out by a few teams (Knicks & Warriors ) at the time because he was a product of Phil Jackson. It’s becoming increasingly popular to hire these types of “new” coaches with high potential because teams would rather not hire retreads who have failed time and time again and try something different.
Perhaps it’s just a coincidence they are white???

lol nash doesnt have high coaching potential KD just needed a yes man in the coach spot. they became good friends in golden state
Nash one of the smartest ball players oat and actually played in an offense that’s somewhat modern. One of the few players that could probably make the transition
7 coaches in 9 years
You're conflating 3 different eras of our front office
Casual

Nash was player development coach in Golden state
Kerr was the president of basketball operations
I think Nash might end up being a good coach. But lets be real, he got hired because KD probably wanted him to be the coach after they become good friends in GS
It’s so silly to me that this is even a conversation and there are probably thousands just like it happening on Twitter as we speak
I’m crying like s***
How does Nash not have high potential? Dude is a basketball genius
and the nets are going all in on a championship in the next 2 years lol
Round 1 Predictions
East
Bucks over magic in 4
Raps over Nets in 5
Celtics over 76er in 6
Heat over Pacers in 5
West
Lakers over Trail Blazers in 4
Clippers over Mavs in 4
Denver over Utah in 6
Houston over OKC in 7 (if westbrook doesn’t play at all)
Time to Review
East
Got the Bucks win right but not the series amount of games
Got the Raptors right, but to be fair it was the first sweep in Raps history
Got the Celtics right, but 76er disappointed not even winning a game
Got the Heat, but once again not the series amount of games
West
Both 1st seeds just had to throw game 1 huh
Mavs impressed me, they showed up when I thought they wouldnt
Went to game 7, off by one game again, best series for the 1st round
Got the Rockets series exactly right just ignore the bracket
8/8 on what teams would advance, 1/8 on how many games it would take to win the series
I’m crying like s***

So which available coach would have been the better choice?
What were Mark Jackson, Isaiah Thomas, Derek Fisher, & Doc Rivers qualifications before they got their head coaching jobs since they were never assistants either?

Isiah Thomas was literally the owner of the CBA, a whole developmental basketball league, before becoming a head coach.
Mark Jackson spent like 7 years as an a***yst before becoming a coach.
Derek Fisher had zero business ever becoming a coach in the first place and was just given a job by Phil Jackson who was on a mission to finesse Dolan's pockets and destroy the Knicks.
Doc Rivers was actually getting vetted for an assistant coaching job while on the Spurs but lucked into the Magic coaching job as it opened up.
