This supposed to be a problem or sum?
Thats a vibe
Wooooowwwwwww @RDBarrett
How is Luka eligible for MIP? Well, I get eligible, but how was he able to become top three finalist? Dude won ROY last year...many expected and knew he was gonna have a great season this year. Who does the voting for this stuff? Coaches and GMs right?

Making the jump from the best rookie in the league to a superstar is a considerable jump, he should absolutely be eligible even though I don't think he's going to win
For example, if this year's ROY (Ja) improved his own stats next year by the same amount that Luka did this year, he'd be averaging 25/5/9 on 52% shooting. That's borderline MVP candidacy if the Grizzlies don't suck.

That I understand but I really feel like him making it as a finalist really overshadows players who legitimately sucked or very average but then made that massive jump. Luka's jump was "massive" but it was very much expected. He became the face of the Mavericks in his first year and nobody doubted he was gonna have a great second year.
It's not to discredit Luka but it's just...when I think of "most improved" he isn't necessarily the first to come to mind because he's already very good if that makes sense. When it comes to most improved I would think of Bam, Ingram, SGA, and s*** even Devontae Graham before I think of Luka because those guys really elevated their game and became essential pieces in their team. Luka was already essential to the Mavs.
PG vs Gary Trent Jr.

Starring in this role in 2020 is Miami Heat “candidate” Kendrick Nunn!
