We have Māori electorates and representation in government, we have Māori specific agencies and etc.

There’s still a bunch of issues - arrest rates, sentencing etc for Māori, health outcomes for Māori etc

But the main issue in race in New Zealand is socioeconomic disenfranchisement. A lot of the systems are massively less structurally racist than the US
