Jumpshot cue is a joke on low rating jumpers. If the stability is less than like a B+ you have virtually no cue on half your shots

My shooter's stability was at a D+ before last night. He was still nearly 50%

I personally don't have a problem with open shots and mine was a C+. Granted I don't get many open shots, but that's fine because I'm not the shooter

Also, collectively we take some JR Smith ass shots

Objectively speaking btw shooting IS harder. The developers themselves said they aimed to make shooting % align more with NBA standards (40% from 3)

I'm having an easier time shooting than last year

And I'm personally not seeing good shot selection, on top of people not maxing out attributes/badges

I've played in Pro-Am where Gold tier niggas hitting they shots, my team wasn't but again most my friends are trash. The best environment I see and played in is the no squad rec, though I only played like 3 games there

All in all, I'm seeing terrible basketball IQ and shot selection, niggas be making me pay when I leave them open. So, I can't agree with the consensus

Granted my 3 ball is a 79 this year but I was hitting all types of s*** at a 70%+ rate last year with an 85

Now with a 79 I’m lucky to go 5/6 2 games in a row

I personally despise the game but I can appreciate the effort that went into the gameplay aspect

Badge regression and floor setters is so evil bro lmao. I thought badge cores from 2k23 couldn't be surpassed as the worst badge system but here we are

The regression exists because you have like 100 badges available to you the second you upgrade your attributes

The badge core system had it so you literally didn't how long it takes to core things since there's no numerical value. They design these systems to keep you on the game longer. You had to have a mandatory 10 badges to unlock tier 3 lmfao. Some of the tier 3 badge progress barely moved like slithery

I despise the regression. But I understand and respect the system. You get a ton of badges at bronze and the trade-off is you only get quick progress for badges fitting your playstyle

Yes you’ll lose badges quickly if you have to alter your playstyle for whatever reason but you still have them at a bronze level. The game is heavily reliant on attributes and not badges. Badges are just to assist your attributes imo

I have chase down on gold and glove on gold because my build is a lock. I still use agent 3 (bronze) corner specialist middy magician etc effectively
