Nothing has been confirmed, but it’s been heavily implied for a while that this next game will be something completely new.

-Naughty Dog made an announcement a while ago that they had multiple games in production

-Absolutely no mention or rumors Neil has plans to make a new Uncharted at the moment

-Neil has said that he has an idea for TLOU3 but it still in the very early script stages

-And we have confirmation now that it’s been in production since 2020, there’s no way they would be able to start production on TLOU3 in the same year that they dropped TLOU 2 considering there was no script for a 3rd game yet

-Also he has had this in his Twitter header for the past couple years

But I do really wish the next game had a black male protagonist. I definitely feel like there’s not nearly enough games with a black man as the protagonist

Deathloop has really been the only recent one, and CJ from GTA and Lee from TWD are the only black male video game protagonists that I’d consider truly memorable

I want last of us 3 idc lol. It's old, and we want to see them do something new I know, but those games are too amazing. I'd like Ellie and them story to be done though. I'd like a 3rd game to be set in another country with all new characters. See how the infection affected other parts of the world. Maybe even some different variations of infected. Lot of potential.
