A whole year since revealing the game and they don’t have anything else to show ???
Very strange choice not to have a new trailer prepared for TGA .

LETS F***ING GOOOO CRUNCH IS BACK

For the past seven weeks, the Santa Monica-based studio behind The Last of Us has been pushing its staff to work long hours to get ready for an upcoming review of the demo by its parent company, according to people familiar with the situation. Starting in late October, staff were asked to begin working a minimum of eight extra hours a week and logging their overtime in an internal spreadsheet, said the people, who asked not to be identified because they weren’t authorized to speak publicly. This overtime period was an attempt to get the production back on track after several missed deadlines.
The employees were instructed not to work more than 60 hours a week. Staff were also told to return to the office five days a week for this period, up from three previously, sending some employees scrambling to find alternative care arrangements for children and pets. Representatives for Sony and Naughty Dog declined to comment.
Helps they have 6x the employees
I say BRING BACK CRUNCH

It’s not gaming without crunch
It’s not gaming without crunch
rockstar needs to take some notes
"The game is slated for release in mid-2027, according to the people familiar with the schedule, leaving some employees wondering if the overtime requirements will get worse later in the development cycle. "
rockstar needs to take some notes
Least rockstar has had a decade and is a more massive scale
ND hasn’t fed the streets in 6 years and still can’t manage a project without having to crunch
Maybe if ND spent less time remastering and remaking s*** they’d have more done with Intergalctic. I can’t even defend them anymore cuz this all just seems like issues with management.

Jason's article said TLOU 1 Remake and 2 remaster's were made exclusively by new employees / interns to get used to the ND engine and did not take away from dev time of this game at all

The game has been in development since like 2020.
Also TLOU2 was in development for 6 years
ND are just perfectionists like Rockstar . The wait does really suck, but their catalog is elite because of how meticulous they are
Mid-2027 though ughhh . I was hoping for maybe an early 2027 release .
Well if the game is entering a demo state soon, I’m assuming we’ll get our first true look at the game by Spring

Gameplay at SGF seems like a safe bet.

true
Games take so long these days
Insane that they managed to pump out three Uncharted games + TLOU in one generation
We got two games with the PS4 gen
And for this gen it's looking like... one.
