Young DI have a lot of problems with military decisions. I have a lot of problems with foreign policy decisions. I hate that Trumps administration is deploying national guard on cities.
But do I want some Average Joe who just signed up for the National Guard to support his family without having any idea what his assignment would be to be killed in the street some day for decisions that those above him made? No
And it’s not like this is the Holocaust in terms of doing what they’re told, a lot of the national guard are literally just bored walking down the street. Yes there are some huge POS racists, but it’s also not ICE where the whole blanket mission of the job attracts racists
They could always just say no

Tbf this is the case for majority people we brought back from Afghanistan. Could be as simple as providing basic translation services or working administrative positions in Afghan government. Could also be military which implicates the entire old Afghan army
You can basically implicate over a majority of Aghan parolees and asylum holders as CIA and US government co-conspirators. It doesn’t tell us much in the context of a 20 year war and propping the old government
