I tried to explain the show to my mom and she was like “you should not be watching that” she doesnt get it
This show is simply impossible to describe
Lmaooooo at awkward robotic ass Nathan being confused on why the lady captain who’s way more outgoing is getting better ratings
Lmaooooo this nigga went from aviation safety to wanting to rehearse how to be charismatic
Stay focused Nathan!
Finally got around to watching S2 E2 last night and I think this might be my one of my favourite episodes of anything Nathan's produced.
The insane airline pilot, the fake Canadian Idol/singing show, addressing Nathan's continued need for validation and to be liked, calling out Paramount+ and Nathan self-reflecting on the way he's calling them out, the (maybe?) sincere moment at the end...and it does this all while being a mindfuck that's never clear on what's real and what's not.
Dude is a master at what he does and I'm thankful HBO gave him a budget to cook on what's most of the time an indescribable show.
Pretty much sums up my thoughts. I love shows/films that you can never tell what’s real and what’s an act. It’s like some next level performance art s***
I think so? Is it the one with the trivia night??
this nigga. Ain’t that season 1?????
Nate wanted to learn about aviation safety
That sent him down a rabbit hole of how pilots communicate
That sent him down a rabbit hole of how they aren’t direct and makes them fake judges to learn how to be direct
That sent him down a rabbit hole of why some pilots are more likable than others
That sent him down a rabbit hole of training a day to mimic another dog to see if he could mimic Sully

I hope he gets lost in all his rehearsals as the season continues
Oh yeah there’s only like 3 episodes left
forgot its 6 eps
i know itll be some fire though

He’s going with that British TV quality over quantity approach
Everytime Nate gets on the phone with someone or meets with someone I always fall for it and think it’s real
I’ve been thinking about Ep2 for days. It’s squarely in the mix of his absolute best work. Just absolutely brilliant from start to finish. A 35 minute episode of anything leaving that kind of impact is so impressive to me
