Kor almost certainly is autistic, but there are plenty of people from Nathan For You and probably future episodes of this show that are totally “normal”

I think one of the main themes of these shows is the appeasement and the out-of-character lengths that normally reserved people will go when a camera is put on them and there’s the potential promise of some form of profit.

If anything, from what we’ve seen so far, this show is much more good natured in that rehearsing this moment probably made Kor much more comfortable and prepared than he would be otherwise. That, and he did confront the thing he was avoiding - which is what the craigslist ad was asking about.
