This might be a weird complaint but I wonder where Hit-Boy gets his samples from because everytime he uses a soul sample it sounds like he ripped it off YouTube at 128kbs or something

This is my personal ranking:
The lack of appreciation for KD 1 is astonishing to me. Its a contender for the best from this run for me. Really good album
KD1 is a solid project, but looking back on it, that album was still a little rough around the edges. It sounds like Nas and Hit-Boy were still getting their feet wet, trying to figure out exactly how they want to approach the creative process.
I'm sorry, but KD2 and KD3 are just infinitely much better than KD1 that it's not even funny.
Hitboy needs more credit bro
Been one of the best modern Producers since Watch the Throne

Need him to really get on his old school s*** and get a good turntable setup

Music wizard
I’m just weirdly picky about it
But listen to both of these in some good headphones:
!https://youtu.be/kNqliFvSm_4?si=TbwhYcYxNDkb2iueProd by Madlib
!https://youtu.be/es5kXMW7sew?si=vFwK5Us8R2lTQxL6Prod by Alc
They both used the exact same sample and made a drumless loop with the same part. But Al’s version just sounds so much cleaner and more crispy. He also samples in stereo while Madlib still only samples in mono for some reason
Idk where I’m going with this lol
The instrument sound(s) in mono is sometimes easier for rappers to rap on
Especially if its a beat with a lot going on
And if there is a lot going on it can make mixing way easier/doable
Just depends
Like in rock and electronic music they will have some sounds in mono (although not every single one) due to how bombastic, full and usually a lot going on to make everything fit and have space
If rappers were presidents, I would probably get trumps vote
what did he mean by that
Nas was there on Jan 6th

Facts but you’d think hes youtube producer with the way people react every time Nas drops an album. The beats on this project is amazing and Im not taking any hitboy slander anymore!
