Is it just me or did hit step it up with this one
sounding like
I know right. People who don't like that album is simply bonkers to me.
"Store Run" is MY S***.
Real
magic 2 was such a s***ter what was the point of that
Meh, I wouldn’t declare him the GOAT for these projects
These are good-really good but it’s not like he’s out here crafting Aquemini or Blueprint level works. He honestly hasn’t crafted something on that level since Illmatic. Those kinds of projects are what impacts GOAT rankings not these.
Every single installment between these two has been consistently great.
He has his classics too.
I mean, this man did make the Hip-Hop bible.
On top of that, he's running raps around these kids at 50.
S***'s crazy.
jodeci member might be top 5 in the series

I don’t disagree that at his age, he’s doing awesome stuff
Just wouldn’t say any of this impacts his ranking because I wouldn’t consider this classic level work. When Tribe Called Quest dropped We Got it From Here, that was a classic level project that genuinely made me think about Q Tips place as an all time producer and that groups ranking. With these projects, they’re nice but it doesn’t change my opinion on where Nas ranks as an all time rapper

I am asking you who of those you consider goats did a 6 Album run this late in their career with exceptionnel quality in this era of rap ? None.
He just put himself on his own category. His Legacy just got a second wind. To me Nas sounds like a new Rapper. Like he his new to me. He the Goat to me now.

Idk I think every goat has their own thing they’ve done which is mad impressive. Cheat Codes from Black Thought is just as impressive if not better than most of these Nas projects imo. We got it from here is a way better album than any of these. Tetsuo and youth, 4:44, Pusha T been on a crazy run albums wise lately, OB4CL2, list goes on.
But ultimately, while it’s cool Nas released 6 of these, when I look at what makes a rapper a GOAT, I look at their classics. I’m looking at Blueprint or the Black Album, not solid albums like Vol 2. That’s what these GOATs will be remembered for. I’m still gonna remember Nas for Illmatic, IWW, Lost Tapes, Gods Son. Those projects still stand well above these. But these are cool for the fans.
based on true events, pt.2 is classic nas
great storytelling, great smooth beat with multiple switchups, perfect smooth flow
man this album is so inconsistent. has some of the best beats of the series and also some of the worst beats ive ever heard ha
M3>KD3>Magic>KD2>KD>M2… and I FW magic 2 after a few spins.
Maybe it’s recency bias, but this is f***ing epic.

I would put magic 2 above the first KD but other than that I agree
