Second half of the album >>>
This! His flows on this are way better than any of the other hit boy albums. This is f***ing prime Nas s***
agreed
Nas flow on this is a level up from the others for me, this is literally prime Nas with nothing off beat or lazy
Yep
Can't wait to listen to this. Magic was already my favorite of all the Nas 2020 albums
Unprecedented late career run
Hip hop is a relatively new genre and Nas is setting the bar high for veteran rappers

Facts
Even if you a Hit-Boy hater or you not feeling the albums, itās impossible to deny Nas himself is cementing himself as one of the greatest with this extremely impressive run.
I never heard a rapper de-aged like Nas. Thereās moments on Magic 1 & 2 and KD3 where he sounds like 2002 Nas.
not bad but nowhere close magic 1 imo
wasnt huge on a lot of the beats, some of them just sounded forgettable
crazy cuz I loved the prod on musiqs latest album but this wasn't hitting for me
If Hov drops another album heās going to follow the standard that Nas has set with these projects
Itās the perfect balance of modern and throwback, Hov isnāt going to do another straight up dust album but he also doesnāt want to go back to pop projects like MCHG which would be regression
Nas beat hov here but I think Hov will use the formula to his advantage if he gets the right production
Magic 1 was special immediately had that in rotation constantly, this on the other hand feels really forgettable and the beats just sound stale
Another one by hit boy?
cause then not listening
Nobody cares
I notice with this album that HB is using tons of drums that heās never used before, and most of them are more āsmallā or āthinā sounding then he usually does
Itās not a bad thing always but I usually prefer the more big drum sounds
For example that snare on the second verse of Bokeem Woodbine or the reverse snare on Black Magic are totally new for him and they both work great. On the other hand the breakbeats on Motion just sound flat to me
Thats crazy because Motion is my favorite song by Nas in forever. Vintage Nas s***, the beat and flow are f***ing prefect for Nas
