    i get what you mean

i would say that would be the fault of artists shying from media + media not asking the right questions. actual storytelling and documentation is really lost in this era.

the volume of interviews 2010s rappers have vs 2020s rappers is staggering

Because media journalism is a goddamn joke lol. So most artists dont even wanna bother.

And also…a LOT of the new acts, are just not good at communicating/talking to folks. I got artists that I love that I don’t really care to watch an interview because they just not engaging outside of the music.

The 10s still had media/PR training, you can CLEARLY tell in the era of leaks of s***tapes galore and constant artists making a fool outta theyselves on social media (cougharicomeongirlcough) that all that s*** is out the window lmao

You would think for the generation that grew up on the internet, that we would know how to…well internet.

but a LOT of millennials and gen z’ers show time and time again via twitter, they dont know what they doing.
