    Eminem is a beast himself. He's sold more albums than Drake and is still a streaming force. Drake just happens to have sold more units in singles.

    It’s hard to say because sales have changed and there any great sales figures

    Wikipedia says Eminem has sold around 220m albums vs Drakes 150m

    That being said it also says Em has 235m certified units while drake has 315m

    What I would say is Eminem has higher first weeks (not super relevant given the differences), Eminem has a higher peak album wise, Drake has more hits, Drake has a longer run at being the biggest

    Album sales overall are a toss up but given that Em has 10 years on Drake Drake will likely end up winning there

    Whenever you see "records sold" it means albums + singles. That's why Drake is ahead. Eminem has sold more albums but Drake has sold more singles.

    Yeah and Drake obviously benefits from being such a force in the streaming era as well. But Eminem and Drake will definitely go down as the two best selling rappers of all time.

    Because he hasn't updated his "records sold" total yet. The last time his label updated it, they updated it to 170 million. He's up to over 300 million now but it isn't updated yet. Read the little write up on the page. It explains it really well.

So people have always been able to buy individual Drake album cuts, where for the first half of Em’s career the only individual songs you could buy were the singles, and single sales weren’t nearly what they are now.

    Also Drake does a lot of features and stuff where Eminem pretty rarely makes appearances.

    Yeah, this breaks it down well. But Drake being that far ahead is also a testament to how dominant of a force he is because he's the only one that far ahead. That should also be stated.
