Coming week
Rain on Me gonna be pretty questionable on staying #1 even with the album boost I think
Feel like it’s gonna drop down below 300 points without the album and the album will push it to 350 tops so it’ll be tight
Damn gooba gonna fall harder than stuck with u
TOTC giving Gaga a much bigger lead

Blinding lights maybe #2 as well
Who is still listening to Blinding Lights? lol
But seriously, I'm surprised Gaga might actually get another #1. She's been kinda inconsistent ever since Artpop, but Ariana is the new hit girl so I wouldn't be surprised if it goes #1. Crazy how Ari is just snagging these #1s so easily (even if she cheated that last one lol)

I think people tend to forget how big Gagas fanbase is. Stupid Love, a song that leaked 3 months prior to its release, went #5 just 2 months ago.
If songs are going to debut number 1 like this a number 1 is soon going to be meaningless.
Songs debutted at #1 all the time before the streaming era
songs were considered failures if they didnt go immediately #1

Go to song milestones and then to number 1 debuts. It’s happening way more frequently and easily now.

No they didn't. It's SO much easier for songs to debut at #1 now, especially if you're someone like Ari, Drake, Taylor or any of the other top pop and rap artists right now.

me sir
Luke combs out here, country winning
was that stream battle between say so and savage pointless then?
In the long run yes
These only count towards RIAA certification not first week sales right?
I've always been confused as to why they count singles towards album consumption. Shouldn't they be separate? Congrats though.
Edit: Stupid Love and Rain On Me both going platinum soon though. Crazy how Rain On Me halfway to gold and it's only been a week.

streams for songs on an album count towards album sales because streaming is such a big part of the market
roughly the number of streams required to generate $10 in revenue (album price) is what constitutes an album sale
when an album releases all prior streams of songs on the album are included in net sales because these songs are part of the album and have as a result generated sales for the album
