What ever happened to slime & b?
12K first week
Was a partial week tho iirc
I don’t understand why Meg and Bey don’t come up with a chill 7/11-style video, would be a lock for #1 next week the way it’s shooting up on radio.
So why wasn't is postponed a week ago? Could it be that his tour bundles wouldn't have sold as well if fans knew they wouldn't be able to go to his concert until next year? It's f***ing obvious that he withheld postponement of the tour to ensure a #1.
They could have still shipped the CDs out release date, no?
So why does that change anything?
Pretty sure all the dates were already sold out so it’s not like he was getting more sales.
I think Gaga still has a tour attached to her upcoming album with 2020 dates
Bundles and tour dates only propping up pop & country for so long, but Billboard knows this and let’s it happen

Those CDs were only sold because of their attachment to a tour slated to begin late May. Kenny canceled the first half of his tour in March, he had nearly two months to postpone the rest of the dates but waited until a day after his album goes #1 to do so. Idk how anyone could say this wasn't a tactic to secure a #1 album instead of a genuine D2C offer.

Only way this changes is if Billboard limits bundles to the week that an album is made available. The BB200 is supposed to be a chart which displays the most popular albums of any given week, but due to the way bundling currently works, we have "first week sales" that are the result of weeks of purchases. With tour bundles the tickets are usually shipped the same week as the album release, but with merch bundles it could take weeks or even months to receive those items.
Some artists like Taylor Swift also use months of pre-sales to prop up first week numbers, but atleast those sales are tied only to the album itself and not a concert ticket or sweater.
What blocked The Box from going #1 in the UK?
Link the UK charts and I’ll figure it out
Seeing official s*** like this is actually insane

The forecast stuff is interesting
He never says if its from Billboard or some independent contractor hired by the labels. It's sus af if Billboard is directly relaying forecasts to labels with point values
Billi in 15days
Playlist easy
AM finally updated, Future got the entire top 12 besides Rockstar
Mixed reviews for this, idk if it will stream well into next week but we’ll see
Billboard really used their platform to promote a song
The are just reporting on something that is being sold. They do that all the time.
