I mean the only good songs on In Colour are Loud Places & Gosh.
Good Times is okay due to Thug.
To each their own though. Swear most of the love he gets is from people who aren’t british.
I've seen so many UK/RA-type people share this same sentiment about In Colour and in some ways I agree that ofc there obviously should be more representation in Electronic besides just that album lol
But also, In Colour is just far too expansive IMO just to write off as some xx side project. The influences on the album don't seem as if it meant to capitalize on some culture he may have never experienced, but actually more as a dedication and as a way to conjure this nostalgia for an era he wishes he probably took part in.

I do consider a good bit of it to be background music. But I don't mine some good background music. I think that can be a negative and a positive thing depending on what you're looking for.
