It was never done before and to have it come out and be entertaining for kids and adults was spectacular.
And when you hear the story of how Toy Story 2 almost didn’t happen, it’s like how the f*** did they make something so successful the first try like that
It’s such a great story
Yeah the backstory of polar being this little Lucasfilm spin off that got lucky to be supported by an insane man like Jobs coming off getting fired combined with Disney wanting access to a new type of film.
Just magic and all the drama behind the scenes makes it even better from Steves rants to Dreamworks being co founded by a Disney exec and helped rip off Bugs Life concept.
To Jobs getting Eisner fired after nemo and becoming the largest shareholder in Disney history through sheer force.
A show could be made on the drama from 1990-2004
