Especially 03 really uses it's story to show how alchemy is math and science and the ending is literally "Nope you want his body back? You gotta sacrifice yours" it follows the rules of the show and themes.

Brotherhood literally makes the rules irrelevant and personifies Alchmey into an actual character who literally says "You figured it out congrats man just give me your powers and it's all good"

Like nah nigga the whole theme was equivalent exchange how the f*** is his powers equivalent to an entire body?.

All of sudden f*** the rules at the end even tho people been losing eyes and limbs for years turns out you could give up powers which are really a science to a god who has been silent the whole show
