Before he drops his next installment in his classic series, I wanted to type an essay for how I truly love his music. Back in 2012 when I thought hip hop was on a downward slope and Drake was dominating the boards, Kendrick came through with the beautiful classic album that’s known as GKMC. What a magical experience that album was! In 2015, he dropped a grandiose album known as TPAB, inviting us to exploring the struggles of blacks and racism in general, supported by beautiful rich production styles. My god that album had me in tears from its sheer beauty.

I’m so glad that we can look up to a hip hop artist that doesn’t make sugary pop music (I’m looking at you Drake) and doesn’t bore me to death (Sorry Cole). He’ll definitely be up there with Kanye and Eminem as the hip hop greats.

Let’s share our thoughts, I wanted to take my time on reflecting his greatness. I know Edgelords will hate on Kendrick but let’s ignore them for now
