I actually saw him / Skylar Spence (what he goes by now) a few years back in Dallas live.. dude had a killer show and the venue (a bar) was filled up with 100 people.. could only hold 50
Talked to him after the show too, really nice guy.. he said lots of his Vaporwave stuff was inspired by his childhood and the aesthetics of late 80s early 90s
Ay man as a teacher can you read this thread and tell me if what I said was justified? Two people in this thread tried to twist my words / motive of my posts around even though it wasn't my intention and they misunderstood what I posted

Kids defaced a ancient landmark in Cornwall to promote history channel new season of Ancient aliens
'While it's likely that the gray paint used to draw the aliens can be removed from the rock, the process is not a simple as washing it away with some hot water and a sponge. That's because the site is a protected location in Cornwall and, therefore, any cleaning work will have to be done by government-approved professionals. Sadly, Mulfra Quoit is the second ancient site hit by miscreants already this year as a Bronze Age burial mound in Wales suffered what has been called "appalling damage" at the hands of thoughtless individuals riding off-road vehicles.'
lock them up

Me: so there was this one time I was mowing the lawn with my grandpa in Arkansas in the yard of his other house he rented out to a couple
Person: listening
Me: it was really hot so we went to burger king across the street and got I an oreo shake...them s***s is expensive too they four dollars haha
But when we got back to the grass...there was a homeless guy who came over. Then some more and it was so weird we didn't know why...
Person: getting fascinated
Me: the whole grass was filled with homeless people because they wanted my oreo shake...
My milkshake brought them all to the yard

Holy s*** yeah man, I was a bit late on the Vaporwave trend too I think the first song I heard was ESPIRIT - Summer Night accidentally, while I was high as f*** and driving with all my windows down at night
s*** was beautiful, empty ass Texas roads are perfect for that type of music
But yeah I remember this song too, this was actually the first one he released under the name Skylar Spence if I can remember.. it was on his debut album, great song too.. and yeah not surprised you loved it cause you were watching anime at the time so that whole Japanese aesthetic was relatable
