A regional accent is the most important and immediate way for an artist to appeal to a specific group. NBA YoungBoy has a strong Louisiana drawl, Travis has a Houston/Harlem hybrid voice, Drake has a Louisiana/Houston hybrid voice (only when he raps tho), Taylor has a valley girl accent, Ed Sheeran has an English accent with a little US Southern twang, Adele has a midwest accent...that s*** is important bruh
