the upvote/downvote system that actively influences what content you see encourages and allows echo chambers to thrive
nine times out of ten there is always a cornball joke chain under any comment that you read, like it’s literally an even 50/50 chance sans maybe the smaller subreddits sure
it’s a cesspool of closet losers, closet racists, ppl that are delusional, corny, and don’t even get me started on the music subreddits either lol. say what you want about this site but it’s centered around music discussion and people at the very least can say whatever opinion they have on something without fear of being downvoted or sum weird s***, people like @benihana would not survive there at all
