I have a rapper friend who i occasionally engineer for and his mic volume is generally too low so i almost always have to turn his vocals way up. Before I do any type of editing if I put his vocals on the track it sounds EXACTLY like EL TORO COMBO MEAL. And it sounds like f***ing trash. But because it's an AeStHeTiC choice yall d***ride it to the moon and back

I don't get what happened, the 74 beat was cool and the engineering was just whatever instead of the usual terrible standard. Then the project completely collapsed in on itself literally the next song
