    The Cold Vein is another album that had Yeezus like production which released a decade before.

    100%. I hate how people try and discredit grime like it hasn't influenced a bunch of albums including Yeezus.

    grime has influenced tons of music and it's not inside of hip hop, a LOT of the uk dance and indie scene has clear grime influences in it e.g. RATBOY or Jamie XX

    also Grime actually does come from EDM afaik it originated from people freestyling over dance beats that others had made, it's far more rooted in EDM than one might expect

    Grime needs more exposure. So many great albums people sleep on because they are by British artists.

    bet that the scene will balloon in influence or recognition in the next decade, you got skepta on a carti album and stormzy becoming a national hero PLUS the fact that the sound of grime itself has completely changed now
