donald made the show and wanted to star in it. he’s a nigga. girl opposite him was originally white. they got another girl. she happens to be asian. they just two people. the fact that normal casting that they probably weren’t even thinking about like this has you thinking it’s some “gimmick” is embarrassing and the idea that everything has to be conventionally attractive white people just like the original (which defeats the point of a f***ing remake) is so braindead i can’t even believe it’s a talking point like how are we here. how is this a discussion we’re having

I've never looked at an actor an thought "I don't want to see them on screen because they're ugly" or disliked someone because I don't find them attractive. The fact that it's "generally agreed" is interesting because It never crossed my mind
