This makes sense with the “I’m all of you” thing Bc in that song he’s rapping from malcom x and mlk perspective maybe he raps completely out of himself the Whole album

Isnt he himself on the last verse on that song lmao

Yeah he’ll still have moments he’s himself/narrating but he’s still def gonna be mostly from someone else perspective Bc that’s gonna be the theme of this one for sure PERSPECTIVE

Heard from an insider that if you play it one way it’s Kendrick going to Six Flags but if you play it in reverse it’s him coming home from Six Flags

Maybe that’s why there’s rumblings that some songs on here are gonna be controversial

Because he’s rapping from the perspectives of people with controversial opinions or people who have committed heinous crimes

I fully believe now that Prayer will be on the album. Fits the vibe of Heart 5 so well, assuming we’ve only heard the demo. It goes along with the theme of perspective perfectly as well.

Not sure if I believe it will be the title track, somebody yesterday was claiming it to have been renamed to Mr. Morale…

So is Kendrick gonna use like legends flow for some songs like is he gonna do a song from Tupac perspective with his flow and try to mimic his voice and s***? Would be insane tbh

    What’s dinner party

Dinner Party is a supergroup comprised of past Kendrick collaborators. Terrace Martin, Robert Glasper, Kamasi Washington, and 9th Wonder.

Their EP is solid, I would love if they were featured on Kendrick's album

Could be completely wrong, but my gut feeling is:

“Mr. Morale” is the first album, and this is the original album that Kendrick was recording in 2018 and 2019, and the one that was scheduled to drop in 2020 but got pushed back because of Covid. This is the album that deals with perspective, morality, and sounds sonically/thematically like Heart Part 5 and Prayer.

“The Big Steppers” is the second album that is more mainstream/radio friendly, and he recorded this album during Covid times in 2020 and 2021. This is the half of the album with all of the big name features and more mainstream accessible songs, with less of an emphasis on the lyricism/storytelling. Sounds more in line with Family Ties and his other Baby Keem collaborations, but more up Kendrick’s alley.

This approach would be the perfect way to appease all of his conscious, TPAB-loving fans as well as his mainstream, DAMN-loving fans. Also, this amount of music would be justified because he hasn’t dropped an album in 5 years.

I’m sure he found some way to conceptualize the two halves and tie them together, but this is my hunch how the two halves will differ.

if this ended up being the case it'd be lowkey kinda funny since he was aware of the DAMN / NATION spectacle rumor, esp. since he addressed it on social media after that album's release. This would be like him actually just doing that this time around
