Nov 29, 2022·1 replyWESLEYS THEORYThat’s KTT2 revisionist history. A lot of the same people in this thread who didn’t like Mr. Morale did not like DAMN either. They said the album was “too commercial” and that it didnt deserve all of its accolades.
Wasn’t until late last year I started seeing universal praise for it.
People had some reservations about the album but I think the truth is somewhere in the middle. DAMN was definitely more embraced than MM was. MM is his most polarizing since TPAB

I agree with that. But I don’t agree with the assessment that DAMN was universally loved from the jump. There was push back on that album although it wasn’t polarizing like Mr. Morale.

Delete this. Yeah usually if a mod sees a thread doing numbers and getting engagement they kill it so they don’t have to do their job. Debate isn’t really encouraged here even when nothing bad is happening
