@RedEyeJedi Unless your name was Pathetic Pixels, most TPAB slander was baseless “lol too much jazz no bangers” talk.

His last two albums are not it and sound dated and boring

As a roundup, where do you think it ranks among Hip Hop albums of the year? If high, do you think the weak year saved it?

Cosplaying black trauma as art is a WILD statement

u could say the same thing about CLB ngl

I’ve listened to it multiple times. I give albums multiple listens before forming an actual opinion. Sure CLB could have been a great album but it has a lot of unecessary fat and it’s clear the original vision was compromised like most of Drake’s work post 2018 aside from HNVM & Her Loss

    Corporate Mór

I was fighting for my life defending i when it dropped

Tpab cd the first one I ever copped, ran it back so much after the initial revelation

Give me Denzel’s “Mother I Sober”

And I loved melt my eyez but lets be real

He touches on being molested, how that effected his relationship with women and going to therapy in the intro. He doesn't tackle the topics with the same depth Kendrick does because he's younger, not a father and frankly probably doesn't have the talent/skill to. But he did rap about similar subject matter and the album is easier to just spin imo

I’m just happy that Drake AND Kendrick put out great projects this year

If we getting to the point rapping about your life is called “cosplaying black trauma as art” then maybe hip hop really has peaked lololol

  • Nov 29, 2022

Yeah but that was an issue with DAMN too. I like this one better than DAMN but both are way below his other albums

It’s more in the context of like someone over sharing their trauma in like a conversation. Only a would say that about music

This is basically a softcore p***o

Guy RECREATED a struggle bedroom for a photo shoot for his album cover

Kendrick post Damn is just profiting off of the issues of black America without actually doing anything to help those he claims he represents

Look at his recent tour and the waves of mayonnaise in the stands. Mr morale was the equivalent to someone blacking out their profile pic then changing it in a week
