Man what the f*** is going on itt
@iHype derailing lmao
I don't really understand the dated production but I understand if some people find it boring.
ya its kinda a nitpick but I guess I could see how people don't see the beats as super "modern"
Africans living in America don’t celebrate it either
Who tf is choosing kwanza over Christmas anyway bro let’s be real about this s***
Bro foreal 😭
That nigga tweaking and just arguing for the sake of arguing
The irony of a lot of the arguments itt is that the thread was made by a Kendrick fan
Lendrick and his Mid stepper album sucked!
this really the type of posts we need?
Just thankful the 90s was more accepting of artists than today tbh.
Unless they were gay I guess
@iHype derailing lmao

A few Stan’s are able to admit they just didn’t like it as much, which is completely fine. I too thought his older works are better (no, not just damn). That isn’t to say morale is bad by any means

Album sounds like it dropped in the 90s wit all that crazy chantin in Aunties Diaries

They cannot process any criticism of Kendrick’s music without sputtering “Drake stan”. Somehow in their mind it all comes back to that

I literally just criticized the album. You’re still a drake stan champ

This cap lol

Touché.
I’m talking more artistry based.
It’s a LOT of classic albums from the 90s that if recieved by today’s audience woulda been deemed as too preachy and boring.
(E.g. doo wop is a club hit.)

Can’t even type because you full of s*** rn
What are some of those critiques?
you aint ask me, but as i said before i think it could've been pared and trimmed down, i do also agree with you that it will probably stay considered as a lower tier project in his discography (i personally think it might be marginally better than DAMN, but DAMN is a lot better than i remember it being so i gotta figure that out for myself)
i just don't agree with a lot of the piss-poor and agenda driven critiques i commonly see on this site
Mr Morale AOTY
