He's so good which is why I don't understand why his fans just accepted this projected as another classic, aoty, etc.
He's executed themes while keeping the listenability much better than this.
Still bump Father Time and Rich Spirit though.

Kwanza is a holiday people celebrate in place of Christmas.
The example was that someone can live in US and not celebrate every national holiday.
It works vice versa - someone can celebrate Christmas and not Kwanza.

It did feel slow at times, some of the songs I felt weren’t his most creative. I love the theme, production, and overall think it’s a great album tho

What are some of those critiques?
Part of that “slowness” has to do with the heavy heavy themes on the album but it does make casual listening of it pretty hard. I felt like he did a better job on TPAB of making catchy music that still had a lot of depth and mature themes
