reptile confirmed

Something that is throwing me off is
the leak saying that Main roster characters can be Kameos as well, but not the other way around. The Amazon leak had Johnny Cage listed as DLC for a Kameo tho

I'd say you should just wait in mk1. The game will prolly feel different and have new combos. But if you really want to play mk11 choose a character you like and watch vids on tutorials on youtube and competive vids too so you can get an idea on how the best play

YouTube videos and practice a lot! And because pulling combos off on nigga is so satisfying you can tell you just demoralized your opponent

my best advice if you really want to get better is practice bro. hopping straight into online usually gets you bodied all day. look up some youtube videos for bread and butter combos, get the hang of those in practice and then try it online. try not to get too frustrated cuz losing will only make you better when it's against good players
another thing to keep in mind is I remember doing something similar when mk11 was dropping. grinded mkx hella hard just for mk11 to drop and it be completely different. looking back it probably hindered my progress a bit. I got the hang of it eventually but there's no doubt that the games will play different
kinda hoping mk1 is combo heavy like mkx. mk11 was so casual heavy any average player can get good enough at one high tier character and beat a really good player in like 10 braindead hits. playing like that in mkx got you blown tf up. bring back skill gaps in mortal kombat
everybody had the same advice so you know we saying some real s***

I need system mechanics that make sense and don’t penalize players who are doing well. I also don’t want them to strip away what makes these characters special (no taking away moves for variation purposes, let them be great)
It’s unbelievable that 11 f***ed up so bad in terms of those aspects
