Worst CoD I've ever played. Took a 7 year hiatus from CoD (last CoD purchased was Black Ops 2)... I'm shook in how bad CoD has become... Uninstalling now.

Why do you start out with claymore as soon as you unlock Loadouts wtf

I still dont know how people find enjoyment in sitting in one spot waiting for people to come to them, yet every game has atleast a couple. Doesnt help that there are literally spots DESIGNED to be camped in, like tf is that lmfao

Search and gunfight the only fun gamemodes

Maps just blend in and all feel the same, i feel like i play the same 3 maps every game

Why couldnt they just make mw2 style maps that all had their own personality/style

i played the beta and the gameplay was good but i didn’t like the maps

I got suckered into buying this game (my friends) I think I’ve been spoiled playing competitive shooters my whole life. (Counter strike, halo, and etc.)

CoD is just one of those games you pick up and play. It just gets boring very quickly due to the fact outside of team death match that nobody cares to win. Everyone just wants to get the most amount of kills and not worry about the objective. There is 0 competitive merit to this. No matter how bad you do, you’ll still rank up and there is no punishment or deranking. I firmly believe that CoD is the reason why a lot of modern day shooters aren’t as good as they could be.

They seen the CoD formula work and many game developers ran with it. For example after Halo 3, Halo suffered because it tried implementing the CoD formula into the series. You see the effects today with Battle Royale games, everyone is now trying to copy that success that Fortnite/PubG have had.

Maybe I’m just getting older and it’s tough for video games to keep my attention like they once did. i just hate playing a shooter and everyone’s sole purpose is to beef up their K/D and completely forget about winning. I don’t see myself playing this new CoD for more than a few weeks.

Sorry for my rant.

Cod has always been about kills if you want to win games you better party up with some friends of the same mindset. Sounds like you'd just like a ranked mode tho which idk if they plan on adding anything like that

No I definitely understand that. I gave up on the series after MW3. Just felt rushed every year with just a different title/setting.

Gunfight is so good and has the best maps in the game imo (except hill)

Also enjoying the f*** out of hardcord and realism. So much fun, love the change in pace and gameplay
