Play warzone

Top 5-10 every f***ing game. Somehow I always seem to f*** up my rotation in those last circles

I haven't played CoD (or any shooter) since BLOPS2 and decided to download Warzone last week cause a friend wanted me to play

But I've never played any battle royale games before and it was a bit intimidating jumping into with no idea how to play lol. So I just decided to download the whole Modern Warfare game and play regular multiplayer until I got back into my groove.

Havent stopped playing the reg multiplayer since. I didnt know anything about this CoD, so i was really surprised when I'd jump in a match and realize i'm on a classic CoD4 map. Didn't kno they brought some of them back. (The special playlist this weekend is 24/7 Shipment games, and I haven't played anything else since it launched.)

The gameplay itself is really great. Feels very hyper-realistic at first compare to older CoDs and took several games to get used to how fluid your character feels. (Reminded me of the first time I played Rainbow Six Vegas 2, but the learning curve isn't nearly as steep haha). After 4-5 days of playing it, I can't even tell the difference between how it feels vs older CoDs now.

Two things I will warn you about tho:

1. If you download Warzone only just to try that part of the game, you have to download 100GB of the base game along with it. And then if you decide to unlock the full game (Campaign, Multiplayer, Spec-Ops/Co-Op), then you have to download the files for those modes...which ends up being about 50GB of extra files. So the total file size for everything will be 150GB, in case you have to make room on your drive or don't have space...

2. Not only is the menu layout in this game absolute dogshit (seriously, who signed off on this inconvenient mess of menus??) — but also, if you're playing on PS4, the smaller text in the various menu info boxes (AKA, like 80% of the text in the games UI) is laughably small, to the point where you can barely read descriptions at times unless you move within a few inches of your screen just to know the details of things you're choosing.

From what I've read about that issue so far, the "tiny text" seems to affect PS4 versions of the game. Apparently Xbox has some different screen resolution settings that can make it better (or so I've heard), and I'd assume PC has more tweaks available for things like that. But PS4 settings don't fix it at all, and it's incredibly annoying because this is arguably the most in-depth loadout customization that's ever been in a CoD game...

TL;DR - I'll tell you same as I told my friend yesterday: Basically, everything that involves actually playing the game is surprisingly great (compared to how downhill things have been for the series in recent years)... But everything outside of that — basically anything involving menus and also the dumb way they treat challenges now — is ass and needs a really good facelift.

Not really into the battle royal theme, but i believe you. Highkey turned off w the 150GB file size (recently bought a 500GB ps4 + i got rdr2 😅) and theres still other games im tryna play.. i guess im gonna pass on this great reply thx u!

It's worth noting that any games you've downloaded digitally from the playstation store, if you remove them from your hard drive you can always re-download for free later

You should be able to delete the Campaign and Spec-Ops files, which would clear up like 20-25GB IIRC.
