Lol US military propaganda or what? I haven't played the campaign

Most Americans think there's fighting in a Vague Land here far away. American soldiers fight in Afghanistan, the Middle East and North Africa - but all these places are considered interchangeable.
Russia invaded Afghanistan and occupied the country from 1979 to 1989. The Russians used chemical weapons - although not on such a scale as in Call of Duty - and destroyed the country with air raids. But America has been in Afghanistan for much longer: almost twenty years, and the end is not yet in sight. Although the Americans don't use chemical weapons there, they have killed civilians with air raids. The best known attack is the one on a hospital of Doctors without Borders, in which 42 people were killed.
Urzikstan is also Libya. On September 11, 2012, the Islamic group Ansar al-Sharia attacked the American consulate in Benghazi, killing four Americans. In Urzikstan, the destruction was greater and dozens of people died while I was shooting through the Call of Duty version of the consulate in Benghazi. Bullet after bullet I shot into the bodies of the members of Al-Qatala, the game version of Al-Qaida. It's the best mission in the game.
America is waging war - if you use a reasonable definition - with at least seven different countries. The real number may be higher, but it's hard to say how many higher, because there is still a lot of information classified. American troops are fighting in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Somalia, Libya and Niger. The Americans also carry out support and surveillance operations in countries like the Philippines, where IS has a foothold.
But in their own country all those wars in a Vague Land here are far away. Iraq is Afghanistan, Libya is Syria. It's all "sand and death" - as the American president says. There is no distinction between the struggle between al-Shabab in Africa and the Taliban in Afghanistan. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare exploits these historical events and turns them into entertainment for the people who are safe at home. They are people who do not want to think about the Vague Country Far From Here, except in terms such as 'How We Win' or 'How This Is Not Our Guilt'. The difference between the conflicts, the countries and their populations is lost. It's all here far away. It's all The War.

Well put. Did you write this? If so, I wouldn't be surprised if you work at a media outlet, since you mentioned your coworker writing a COD review.
I might have to dive into the campaign just to see some of this myself.

Oh lmao you really piqued my interest because I work at a local news org. Thought I found another journalist on here. Still, really interesting
each time I play shoot-house im reminded how vastly better it is than any other dog s*** map in this game. it just plays how a FPS should play, it just works
The amount of times I’ve seen the name “Lana Rhoades” in lobbies is astounding
just ran into another one lol
crazy how playing with friends on multiplayer vs queuing solo will drastically change your overall K/D. dropped like .20 points after my usual squad stopped playing, no callouts no strategy nobody watching your back
bought a brand new controller and it already got stick drift
It doesn’t, this game for some reason will act like it does. I’ve bought 3 different controllers thinking they had stick drift but then in reality it’s the game. It’s the same reason they’ve added the deadstick option to the menu.

played with a dude named “riley reid’s dad” the other day
Anyone else on PC?
The last game update has tanked my FPS I was getting 110-130+ on high setting with RTX 2070 and now i'm getting sub 100
Some days this game runs well and other days its super choppy. I dont really know why either and I have the same GPU as you.

i wonder why it's even like that then
I need to get in the habit of drop shooting more often
dropshotting is below avg in this game tbh. it's all above the jumpshot

Feel like drop shooting is more useful
Feel like drop shooting is more useful
it's useful in some situations but since the time to kill is so low, getting shots off first is more important

Something with the settings it’s weird. Have you tried the controller on other games?

nah man cod is life
nah man cod is life
I know the feeling
but yeah it’s this game. If you were to use the controller on any other game there wouldn’t be any stick drift.

Jumpshotting in this game def op
Socom rounds for the M4 are absolutely disgusting. Holy f***ing s***. I can never play with anything else anymore. So addictive. Motherfuckers drop so fast.
Just won a game with a Socom M4 coupled with an M13. Jesus, I don't need a sniper anymore.
