24K Magic
Nope, love that album but Thriller is more than just a hits album. Itâs a brilliant masterpiece musically. 24K is not in that tier.
Imagine a run like Ye and he still has to get albums compared to thriller and itâs not even one of his best
Grad is deserving to be in the conversation with your points. However it ainât as timeless like Yeezus. When I listen to Grad I can tell it was an album that was made in the 2000s. Yeezus has no time constraint, it fits in any time frame, even in the future that isnât here yet
Thriller isnât timeless either
F u talking about?

why doesnât it sound timeless to you
MJ comparisons or whenever artists talk about being the next MJ are so played out imo, always yawn whenever artists do that. Even tho I know it comes from a place of respect often itâs still like delusion on 10

Lol Yeezus is his best
why doesnât it sound timeless to you
Are you serious? That s*** sounds like the late â70s and early â80s in a nutshell. Comparing it to Kanye sampling Hungarian Prog Rock is lunacy.

Kanye comparison is a miss but it still sounds fresh to me
Modern day Thriller:

I like VIEWS but absolutely not lmao

Thereâs a difference, thatâs why Thriller is so highly regarded to this day. Off The Wall is more on the lines of what you said.
When people think of Thriller, itâs one of the best albums oat. Not one of the best 80s albums oat.
every single one of yall are wrong

California Gurls the equivalent of Thriller, music videos never were the same
How u gonna say 20/20 and not the album that had Sexyback, What goes around comes around, Lovestoned, and Summer Love on it
How you gonna list off hits from FS/LS and skip My Love
every single one of yall are wrong
I always viewed that closer to Bad then I did Thriller. Cuz pretty much every song on both albums were released as a single and became hits.
mfs out here claiming 20/20 is a godsend. first off, that album was only a big deal because of the amount of time JT was away from the limelight + the success of FS/LS. if 20/20 Pt. 2 didn't drop, he could've coasted off the success of Pt. 1 but instead he decided to drop an album full of s***ty b-sides that tainted the 20/20 legacy in general
