Man that cult s*** was never confirmed...right?
Don’t need to confirm what’s confirmed
happy asf for rosalind eleazar, it seems she knocks this out the park
wish the overall reaction was warmer though, really wanted to see rock have one with this
this was solid, editing/story could’ve been a little stronger but great performances by everyone
I liked this movie more than I didn't. That's mostly due to Rosalind Eleazar, she killed this and I hope we see her in more, better leading roles soon. There's a LOT (too much) going on, but she holds it all together.
Chris Rock was the worst part of his film. Whenever Rosalind, Driver, or Kaluuya was on screen I was along for whatever ride we were taking. But all of Chris' scenes really seemed to deflate things, especially the one at the diner.
Kaluuya was great as usual in the role he had, but his storyline seemed unnecessary because of the lack of fleshing out. It could've been a whole separate second movie on its own, instead of being smushed into this story. It makes the third act a mess, not to mention the Dubai trip finally popping up in the last 15 minutes.
Anna Kendrick's storyline...lmao Chris you a damn fool for this. No. I wasn't even laughing past the first joke that happened on the boardwalk. Useless character.
All in all, it's a decent flick/one time watch!
