JimminyThe titanic has been visited hundreds of times so way more than 20 people have been there. And it’s not like they can pull up an inspection report. As far as they’re concerned, this sub has been on dozens of dives and visited the wreck multiple times before. A navy diver who’s been to the wreck 40 times was okay with getting on it so I don’t see why a guy with no engineering experience is gonna think they know better. There was major safety flaws but they wouldn’t be noticeable to the average person. The issues with the sub being bolted shut and game controller aren’t what people make it out to be. It’s just hindsight is 20/20 people trying to make a point
