when deep sea divers die that far under the ocean, it’s really risky to try and recover their corpse so they usually leave them, it’s even moreso with 4-5 people
Reminds me of the lost explorers on Mount Everest where it’s far too dangerous to risk extraction of the body so they just leave them there and they end up being “trail markers”

I never said it wasn’t. Literally my first post itt was saying these dudes don’t deserve sympathy because doing something like this has this risk. I was just pointing out the titanic has been visited like a hundred times. And there’s probably been a thousand expeditions to other sites without incident. I can’t really blame everyone on that sub for thinking that sub was alright except for the CEO who was clearly ignoring s***.
