aglowOfc during a riot things will escalate, otherwise it wouldnt be a riot. But it's moreso about the "bigger picture", about making a statement. Something like the discontent outweighting the destruction, if it makes any sense.
to be fair though, the exact same happened after Eric Garner died. 6 years later, same situation and nothing has changed.

bossyyyyyJust got back from protesting.
Saw a lady get hit w a can of tear gas apparently she had a stroke. So many people was out crying / yelling after getting gassed. Ppl started robbing the target across the street for milk so they closed early. cops was shooting ppl w paintballs and rubber bullets. the entire area surrounding the police precinct was tagged w ACAB/ F*** 12 graffiti and it was sad bc there were a lot of local businesses that had graffiti all over them too. Had 2 flash bangs blow up right in front of me on some Call of Duty s***. The killer got his address leaked, and it was hella people outside his house, but hella cops too

Resisting arrest or not, nothing warrants a 200+ pound cop putting his entire body weight on the back of someone's neck. Even if done by accident as I saw someone try to argue, leaving it there is a choice, especially when you have witnesses and THE MAN HIMSELF saying that he couldn't breathe. Resisting arrest is the flimsiest f***ing argument and I'm glad it doesn't seem to be flying at all.
