would love to hear the label stories behind the delay, he’s a talented songwriter and as much as i hated his last album it felt like it was succesful enough to warrant creative freedom

he seemed ready to drop a year or two ago so i wonder if it was creative decisions or label insecurity

A cool song but it feels like a deep cut not rly a single, plus the intro song and that dj set had me thinking the whole album was gonna be a little industrial or electronic so I was excited

but New Martyrs and Always Time are both stripped back and kinda regular degular lol, and that's 2 of 12 tracks

With that being said I really like that new track, I just had to divert my expectations for the album
