always wondered why he was gonna name an album off an obscure 90s console

2015 vibes was harder no cap
And 2016 was a result of that imo
Idk specially urban culture was like on the brink of true worldwide mainstream, just underneath which made it just a lil more exciting

I think it was because that was the cool advanced system that way less people had than the SNES or Sega, it was a status symbol

urban culture was the mainstream from 2016 on

Yeah that's what am saying and I feel like even tho I did enjoy it, it was also the start of cornier s*** and less "gatekeeping"

2015 was perfect in that regard
It was high af quality
A distinct aesthetic and vibe
Nobody was really catering (look at Drake IYRTITL) to the mainstream

It was the true soul of the culture, like idk it was pure modern blackness(for back then)

Early 2016 was such an exciting time

nah it was kind of like the temu snes at the time
