It sucks but it was just so much easier to make a game back then and less money meaning more ideas greenlit and more polished games
The good old days where gaming was way less like Hollywood and more like(wait for it)…………video games. Way more variety and games were deeper during that era whether people wanna admit it or not.

Things not looking good for them right now… ps5 production is almost halted, no developer acquisitions, barely able to keep up with game pass, and most of their new exclusives are gonna be available on PS4 anyways
But yea they could still come out on top if they got some s*** up they sleeve

Crazy thing is,those rehashes will still sell pretty good with people/kids wanting their COD fix but are stick with a PS5. The brand COD sells more then the actual game at this point.
