To people yes but to most people consistently here in this thread most of us don’t purchase call of duty for full price or have been dissatisfied with it . S*** even casuals it’s a game where people buy to play with friends or it sells well during holiday season . Them getting it for subscription price or paying full price for it doesn’t affect them . This still comes to everything for a decade more . So many here are fighting for in 2033 call of duty will be exclusive maybe vs everything happening currently that’s absurd. In 10 years Sony will have more exclusives and marketing deals . Nintendo will keep doing them . This won’t irrevocably shift everyone to go from ps5 to current Xbox or next Xbox .

70$ vs 10$ for 100s of games . You have no music subscription services ? No tv show or movie subscriptions? No AMC stubs ? Nothing no prime ?

I’m old enough to remember buying finished games at $50-60 a pop, not having to pay to play online, and definitely not having all these corporations ravage one of my favorite hobbies.

Maybe this is normal for some of y’all, but not for me.

It’s not 2004 . Like I agree with much of your sentiment but games are much more expensive to make and more people to pay . People laugh when a red fall is made or flops but arkane drops that s*** without Microsoft studio closes lol . Enough flops would lead to studio closings

PlayStation 3 is true but primarily the beginning of ps3 or lead to worse servers . Pc is still free to play online . Nothing about your pc experience is changing and Microsoft delivers good ports

Xbox has no games, Halo ruined, trying to save itself by blitz-scaling a terrible subscription service.

PlayStation releases a decent gem every few years, but left behind the magic of the PS3 era in favor of more “mature” singleplayer only games.

Nintendo can’t even release a Wii Sports follow up without it missing basic features.

Which COD can push hardware, they have their agreements in place to keep COD on other platforms for now maybe? I definitely would've dropped my nuts on the competition and let people know they had to sub up on pc or buy an xbox. COD the biggest frontrunner in gaming, so there's no denying that it's got tremendous value in whatever direction Microsoft goes with it compared to Final Fantasy

I paid $180 for 3 years of gamepass ultimate and I don’t have to renew until fall 2025

I’ll see if the price goes up but I’ve had gamepass for like 6+ years now and it’s been $180 for 3 years every time

It’s a good deal no one can convince me otherwise lol
