Yea,if you really look,PC has plenty of interesting games and yes,Sony just wants their mainline titles to crossover and keep indies as refreshments. Give these indies a chance at a full fledged game development

That feeling of booting up the console minimizes lol used to be party chat and play something but now discord allows us to talk many places while we play whatever. While at the same time if I am playing a cinematic experience which sony excels in I don't really like party chat. They really just need that multiplayer game but even when they do get it they will kind of need the pc player base because so many PlayStation gamers aren't multiplayer lovers or often look down on it. Similiar to how microsoft does. Whenever sony does get that multiplayer game perhaps they will put it on plus or premium . S*** if all expansions of destiny came to premium perhaps I would jump into it. Feels too far ahead now though. It can't all ride on Factions or any games as service games

Maybe it'll surprise but I don't think Factions is gonna be what Sony needs. I say get to work and have a brand new SOCOM game ready for launch with the PS6

Factions isn't going to be what they need. Especially a free to play style because only so many customizations you can or would buy in such a serious realistic world. May buy them time though cause Microsoft Redfall multiplayer coop not pushing anything major, sea of thieves, grounded not gold, halo infinite struggling, I do see a gears of war announcement by end of the year though. Starfield Single player, Perfect Dark hopefully gameplay this year but both microsoft and Sony seem afraid to challenge Battlefield, Apex Legends, Call of Duty. Hypothetically the microsoft deal does go through then Sony may make a movie on battlefield . If it doesn't go through then microsoft does publishing or marketing deal with activisioin for exclusive cod or battlefield content. Again we in an odd point in the generation and the console ebb and flow. All I know is besides fighters we need more multiplayer experiences be it coop, competitive or free to play

If done right,Perfect Dark should be a killer app for Xbox. Gaming needs more varied multiplayer experiences for sure,we can only have so many shooters/fighters,create something new

Praying Perfect Dark lands but they keep changing creative directors on major projects. Same kind of thing happened on halo Infinite too. Rod Fergusson and more. Like kind of lockdown those creative directors give them the freedom and team they need to succeed. Microsoft doomed if they keep losing some of the creative directors that truly know what they want to make. They wind up making their own smaller studios again like Gen design, Respawn, Kojima situations and many more.

MS probably wants Perfect Dark to be a service first and make the gameplay borderline generic so it can be familiar to people,while alot of these moving on from the project wanna make an actual reboot of Perfect Dark. People are gonna turn on MS so hard when they take one of these beloved IPs and just ruin them with corporate decisions
